Whether it’s a vacation, a day off here or there, or taking care of a sick child, Scorpion offers flexibility to take the time you need.

What's Included

Flexible Time Off (FTO): Flexible time off, or FTO, is for all eligible Scorpions to take vacations or just a day off. Nothing accrues or expires, and there is no annual maximum. It’s meant to give you the flexibility you need to balance work and life.
Sick Time: We offer up to a week or more depending on state specific laws for any Scorpions who need to take care of themselves or a family member when they are sick.
Holidays: We offer the following holidays for all Scorpions: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, MLK Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Paid Leaves

Scorpion offers paid leave to support employees through very important times to ensure that employees can take the time to care for themselves and their families.

What's Included

Parental Leave: Scorpion offers employees in all states three weeks of parental leave to any parents for bonding after a birth, adoption, or placement for foster care. For employees in states without state-mandated parental leave programs (e.g., TX, UT, etc), employees can take an additional 3 weeks of leave. A complete list of eligible states will be provided in the parental leave policy.
Medical Leave: Scorpions may take medical leave and become eligible to be paid through short-term or long-term disability for certain medical situations that require an employee to be away from work.
